There is a High Court date before Dato Wan Farid on Monday July 1st with regard to the JMB Scandal in Segambut which implicated the MP for Kepong, Lim Lip Eng. With the fact of the case in order and the formalities already done, a swift decision is expected.
The "illegal" Joint Management Body (JMB) of Icon Residence is trying hard to obstruct the legal transfer of management to the Management Committee (MC) through appeals, application of stay and judicial reviews.
Time is not on their side because the Tribunal Court have decided on April 5th that JMB is illegal and it should be dissolve within three months from the date of the first AGM on February 22nd which is May 22nd.
A request of stay have been dismissed by the High Court on May 3rd.
The MACC report made against JMB have enlisted long list of offenses which include embezzlement, abuse of power, forgery of signatures, corruption, and improper procedure in awarding sub-contracts.
These offenses are allegedly committed by an officer from Lim's Pusat Khidmat for his Kepong constituency and other related parties. Those actively involved are foreigners or foreigners carrying supposedly Malaysian NRIC and passport.
The syndicate maybe operating at other condominiums in the vicinities and have paid insiders in various government departments and perhaps, enforcement agencies. Allegedly MC members were harassed.
An MCA Youth Information Chief, Neow Choo Seong put up a posting on the MCA website here to call on Lim to answer for the allegation made by the whistleblower portal JMB Malaysia News here.
Lim did not respond but made a police report against Neow. He appeared at the Sentul Police station the previous Friday to give his statement.
Neow explained that there was no slandering on his part as it was merely requesting on Lim to response. Furthermore, there was an MACC report made by the residences.
In a firm tone, he lambasted Lim Kit Siang's blue eyed boy for resorting to police report to evade from being answerable on matter of public and community interest.
The lack of transparency and Lim's action certainly raised eyebrow. The Malay has a saying those who bite on chili will taste the heat (pedas).
His actions also left a bad impression on the police. However, MCA sources said the Sentul police was professional and in fact, taken Neow effort positively.
There should not be any wrong misconception of Neow being wrongly accused for alleged mischief. Certainly there was no collusion involving police.
It is more likely at other government outfits. JMB seemed able to, at will, delay the execution of Tribunal's drcision and issuance of the certification to validate the new MC.
Upon the favourable court decision, police should assist for a smooth changeover of the management premise to the MC and ensure JMB passover all the documentations.
Perhaps, this event and the ensuing development made Lim nervous and is in dire need to cast MCA in a bad light.
In Parliament on Wednesday, he criticised the two MCA MP for not casting their vote to dissolve MAVCOM and suggested they change their seats to the opposition side.
MP for Air Itam responded to highlight 66 government MPs did not attended to vote the Bill, including the Prime Minister and his wife.
More curious is his motive to call for a stop to appointing retired officials to senior positions in government. He was reacting to the appointment of the new Election Commission Chairman.
It is not likely of him to seek the young, loud and overly brash Seow Choo Kiong appointment. He is needed as runner and enforcer for the syndicate.
Well, the likes of Lim tend to flock with birds of the same feather. Then, he must be cheering for Bersih's and LFL-friendly Azmi Shahrom.
Please la .... not the "eksen" and "perasan bagus" late ex-husband of Prof Nurcahaya Arshad or as she was called in MRSM Kuantan, no light (al Fatihah).

In the latest from JMB Malaysia News HERE, it revealed Seow disappeared for two weeks to hide in Singapore.
However, he has returned and is expected to appear in court this morning at the Bahagian Kuasa-Kuasa Khas of the High Court located at the Right Wing of the Level 4.

Also revealed that JMB Chairman, Liu Weike is the owner of 2-11-01 unit and he is in Malaysia on social visit pass.
He is a PRC scammer collaborating with Seow and together responsible for raiding the Management Office to seize control despite the decision of the Tribunal (for Strata Management) favoured the MC.
MACC and Immigration should raid on them the soonest possible.
